Valerie is a regulatory investigator, consultant, and social worker with extensive experience across frontline practice, leadership, and professional regulation. Her work focuses on ethical decision-making, investigations, trauma-aware practice, and supporting professionals and organizations navigating complex accountability environments. Valerie brings a steady, rigorous approach to work that requires clarity, fairness, and care, particularly in situations involving risk, power, and public trust.
Co-Founder, Director & Chief Operating Officer
Cornelius is the Chief Operating Officer of VJH Learning & Consulting, providing strategic and operational leadership across business development, financial management, systems design, and client service delivery. He brings a strong background in organizational operations and management, with a focus on building efficient structures, scalable processes, and sustainable growth. Cornelius oversees contracts, administration, project coordination, and vendor relationships, ensuring that programs are delivered with consistency, reliability, and excellence.
Consultant & Facilitator
April Peckham is a social worker with experience in community-based practice, education settings, and trauma-informed systems work. She within the education system and provides consulting in facilitation, regulatory investigation, ethics, and regulatory report writing. With academic training in Psychology, Criminology, and Social Work (BSW, MSW), April brings both practical experience and strong analytical skill to her work. Her practice is grounded in social justice–oriented, relational, and trauma-informed approaches, informed by her research and experience with occupational stress injuries.
